Comedy Lab

Looks like the Comedy Lab that we’re working on with BBC Interactive Drama and Entertainment will be happening in early July - sometime after the World Cup but before the holidays.

We’re going to experiment with a different format from the Innovation Labs earlier this year, inviting individuals instead of teams and brainstorming ideas from scratch rather than starting with exisiting concepts. The participants will be a mix of BBC staff and external writers, producers and performers.

We’re planning to start with a 3 day residential (probably at the Spread Eagle again), then a couple of follow-up sessions before projects are pitched to commissioners.
