Comedy Lab (before)

Back at the Spread Eagle in Midhurst for the BBC Comedy Lab with a mix of writers, script editors, producers and new media/interactive TV people; some freelance, some BBC staff.

The purpose of the 3 day Lab, commissioned by interactive Drama and Entertainment is to brainstorm ideas for cross-platform interactive comedy formats. Unlike the Innovation Lab which we did here in March, people have come as individuals and without predefined projects.

It’s unlikely we’ll get ideas developed enough to be commissioned by the end of these three days but by bringing this group together we aim to start a process which will lead to the creation of a show.
