A Life in the Day…
September 14, 2006 – 6:06 pmNico Macdonald is producing the next InSync event which is being held as part of the London Design Festival: Life in the Day of the…Editorial Designer.
It’s at 6:00 pm on September 21st at zero-one. The blurb for the event says:
“Can creatives in one profession inform they way other design disciplines work? Graphic and product design, film-making and animation, interaction and Web design each have their own methods, tools and mindsets. What, for instance, could a Web designer and a graphic designer learn from each other? About working with editors and engineers, pictures and moving images, focus groups and personas, typography and interaction, working with business and return on investment, comps and wireframes, instinctive design and usability testing. We bring together two experienced design directors working in editorial and interactive design to tell us about how they think, work and collaborate. Come and join us and, we hope, learn from their stories.”
The speakers are Max Gadney of BBC News Online and Jeremy Leslie of John Brown Citrus Publishing.
